Dr Back is a consultant interventional cardiologist committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in Sydney, NSW. Dr Back enjoys the assessment and management of all common cardiac complaints including chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness and palpitations. He treats all cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure and cardiac rhythm disturbances. He has a particular interest in the management of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, particularly complex percutaneous intervention (stenting) and CTO. Dr Back is passionate about optimising vascular risk and the medical options for both primary and secondary prevention of atherosclerotic disease, including newer agents in cholesterol management and obesity.
